With the mission of giving back and ensuring veterans across the state have a better quality of life, the New Hampshire Home Builders Association (NHHBA) created the Builders Care NH Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping those in need.

This past week we were able to help out another New Hampshire Veteran in Exeter. Navy Veteran Charles Whitman 85 years old has been struggling getting in and out of his home since his Parkinson’s disease has progressed making simply getting out of the house a struggle. New Hampshire homebuilders members Lewis Builders Development, Inc. & East Coast Lumber lumber along with building product manufacturers Fibron helped make getting out easier and safer for Charles and his wife Jeannie by building a new wheelchair ramp instead of just a landing. When speaking with Charles he expressed that this addition of a new ADA wheelchair ramp is a life saver and has changed his life more than we could know.
I wanted to say thank you to all involved with this project in making this happen. Also thank you to Navy Veteran Charles Whitman for your service to this great country.

Thank you to the generous donation of $28,000 from Capital City Subaru for our Hammers for Veterans Program through the Subaru Share the Love Event. These funds will help us be able to support more Veterans in need.

Their donations will help low income veterans stay in their homes longer and age with honor and dignity. Helping these veterans improve their quality of life is so important. THANK YOU!!

We feel strongly that all of our Vets, no matter which branch, no matter which era, no matter how long they served deserve to be recognized and appreciated. Wednesday night at Delta Dental Stadium Joe Harnois presented a donation check from the SNHHBRA Annual Charity Golf Tournament to Lynette Rogers -Hammers for Veterans. This organization does amazing work to help veterans and their families live a better and more comfortable life in their homes.
