On behalf of the PHUMC Minutemen Chapter,
It is with great sadness that I inform you that Jeffery “Reaper” Sweeney passed away today at 5:31 PM.
Reaper was a true Brother through and through. He was a son, brother, father, grandfather, fiancé, mentor, Team Leader, combat veteran, and an incredible friend to many. To me, he was my right-hand man and the Chapter’s Vice President.
I will miss this man more than words can express. We have been riding side by side since 2016, and he had my six when we started the PHUMC Minutemen Chapter. It will be difficult to ride knowing he is no longer on my right while I’m on the road, but I know he will always be watching over me.
Some things you all might not know about Reaper: besides loving his family, his four children, and the Pipe Hitters Union Motorcycle Club, he loved his Bud Light—or, as he called it, “tranny beer”—Mountain Dew, Brothers Doughnuts, THC gummies (only in Canada with the Pale Horsemen Chapter), my wife’s baking, and most of all, his fiancée, Tiffany.
He was the kind of guy who would go to hell and back for a friend. He loved his four dogs—Harley, Nova, Rambo, and Daisy. He would tell you he was the nicest as***le you would ever meet, and he was famous for saying, “F**k it, let’s do it.”
Reaper’s journey will not end today. His legacy will live on through the lives he will save as an organ donor. Members of the PHUMC Minutemen Chapter, along with family and friends, will stand with him during his Hero’s Walk at the hospital to honor both his service and his final act of selflessness through organ donation.
Please keep the PHUMC Minutemen Chapter, his fiancée Tiffany, his children, and his entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Though we have lost a Brother, we will never lose what he meant to us. Reaper’s memory, loyalty, and spirit will ride with us forever.
ML&R,
PHUMC Minutemen Chapter
