Today, the transformation begins.

A dedicated group of volunteers is arriving at the University of New Hampshire to begin setting up for the 2026 State Summer Games. After days of preparation, packing equipment, and planning behind the scenes, the campus will soon become home to Special Olympics athletes from across New Hampshire.

By the end of the weekend, hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, healthcare professionals, coaches, officials, and community partners will have helped create an unforgettable experience for athletes competing in athletics, bocce, powerlifting, and swimming.

As we celebrate 50 years of partnership with UNH, we're taking a look at the people who make Summer Games possible.
