Great day for Future Leaders Program in Kennett High School. Joe from Appalachian Mountain Club came by to discuss Search and Rescue Operations in the mountains. Students and I learned a lot about common hiking mishaps, proper search procedures and essentials to pack when you are part of a search and rescue operation. Thank you AMC and Joe Roman!

What an awesome day!! Saturday Task Force Eagle of Kennett High School hiked Mount Willard Trail as an end of the year send off! Thank you for being a part of Future Leaders of NH! In times like these, a great skill to know is how to garden - You never know when resources will be limited. The Students of Task Force Eagle were able to get their hands dirty and plant tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and watermelon of their choice from seeds.

They were able to bring them home to share their experiences with their families!

In the coming weeks we will be working on the process of separating the roots of seedlings, transplanting into larger cups, and eventually in the ground for summer harvest!
