In the mid-20th century, shoe stores used fluoroscope machines to check shoe fits. Customers placed their feet inside an active X-ray device to see the bones in their toes. Stores used these popular gadgets from the 1920s all the way into the 1970s before banning them due to high radiation risks.

The NHSRT and 3 SLDP students from RVCC are all in Albuquerque, NM now attending the ASRT House of Delegates and Annual meeting. They are busy networking with other state affiliate societies, voting on decisions affecting our practice standards, scope of practice, and ASRT by laws, and making meaning connections with many professional board members from the JRCERT ARRT and more!
