JustServe New Hampshire

JustServe New Hampshire "Building unity through community service." JustServe.org is a free, national, website that connects local volunteers with service opportunities.

This page focuses on service opportunities in New Hampshire. Why should I volunteer? We may not solve world hunger immediately, but we're convinced that by serving with each other in our New Hampshire communities, we're paving the way for much broader changes. Our individual efforts don't need to be huge—a little bit of change here, a few hours there—but even small efforts quickly add up to make a

real difference. As we work side-by-side and learn from each other, mutual understanding increases, misconceptions can be corrected, and new friendships are built. Visit: https://www.justserve.org/

Today is Global Youth Service Day!

Celebrating 36 years of youth changing the world, Global Youth Service Day (April 26-28, 2024) is the longest-running annual youth participation event in the world and the only one that asks all youth ages 5-25 to work together for the common good while also recognizing the impact youth make on their communities everyday. We are so thankful for our youth!

We’re just two weeks away from the kick off of Hunger Action Month on September 1!

Hunger Action Month® is when the Feeding America network of partner food banks nationwide come together to spread awareness and take action to end hunger in America.

As a Feeding America partner food bank, the NH Food Bank welcomes you to join us in taking action and going orange - the color used to signify hunger – this September to ensure that our friends and neighbors throughout the Granite State have access to the foods they need to thrive.

Looking for ways to participate? Check out our 30 Ways in 30 Days calendar for more ideas on how you can help us fight hunger here in NH!

Many middle, junior and high schools in the United States allow students to form clubs according to their interests — and many students are forming JustServe clubs at their schools.

To help other teenagers, Isabelle created a series of videos on the Wasatch JustServe Club YouTube channel where she outlined some steps and tips.

As the 2023-2024 school year begins in the United States, students can use these tips to start a JustServe club at their school.

Service doesn’t need to be a big, organized event. Service can be just loving on someone who needs to know that they are loved. Everyone wants to feel seen and heard. Smile at a stranger, hold open the door for the person after you, extend grace to the person who cut you off on the turnpike, drop off some extra veggies to a neighbor - the possibilities are endless! What can you do to lift another?
