🛡️ REALTOR® SAFETY REMINDER: ARE YOU USING FOREWARN? 🛡️

The North Country Board of REALTORS® wants to remind our members about an important safety tool available to you at NO ADDITIONAL COST through the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® — FOREWARN!

📱 What is FOREWARN?

FOREWARN can help REALTORS® verify the identity of an incoming prospect using information such as a name or phone number before meeting them in person. It provides access to public-record information that can add another layer of safety when working with new buyers and sellers.

✅ How do you get your FREE access?

1️⃣ Visit NHAR.org
2️⃣ At the top of the homepage, look for “Safer, smarter. Access your complimentary membership to Forewarn here.”
3️⃣ Click the link and enter the email address associated with your NHAR membership
4️⃣ Watch for your FOREWARN activation email and follow the instructions
5️⃣ Verify your account with the authentication code sent to your phone
6️⃣ Create your password and download the FOREWARN app

Already activated? Make sure the app is on your phone and ready when you need it!

⚠️ Important: FOREWARN is intended for professional use to verify prospects who have initiated contact with you. It should not be used for prospecting, marketing, or searching people who are not engaging in business with you.

Your safety matters. Take advantage of the tools included with your REALTOR® membership!

— North Country Board of REALTORS® Board of Directors

The North Country Board of REALTORS® Needs YOU! 💙

Something many people may not realize is that the North Country Board of REALTORS® is powered by volunteers.

Our officers, directors, and committee members don’t receive extra perks for serving. They’re REALTORS® who are juggling family, everyday life, clients, showings, listings, closings, and their own real estate careers — while also volunteering their time to help strengthen our Board, support our members, and serve our communities.

And we could use some help!

🙋 Have an idea for an event, class, community project, or way to improve the Board?
🤝 Interested in helping with a committee or volunteering when you can?

💡 Want to bring a fresh perspective to the table?

Get involved! You don’t have to take on a huge commitment to make a difference. Sometimes an idea, a helping hand, or a few hours of your time can go a long way.

The North Country Board belongs to all of us, and the more members who participate, the stronger we can make it.
