At our next Book Club meeting we will continue to move through Man & His Symbols, Chapter 3 focusing on “The Self: Symbols of Totality.” The discussions to date have been amazing—not only the concepts but dragging them into the 21st century and seeing how they work or need to be placed in a different context. Even if you were not able to join us at the first meeting, you are still encouraged to join us on June 14. Although the sections build on each other, they also stand on their own. Keep an eye out for JUNG 101/102: The Fundamentals of Jungian Psychology! We are very excited to announce that we will be putting on a 2 Part program dealing with the essence of Jungian Psychology. There will be 3 classes starting in September 2026 (Part 1) and 3 classes in February 2027 (Part 2). We are honored to have 6 lecturers, all from our community and all of whom are well-versed in their topics. We will be unveiling the details in this month's Newsletter so stay tuned!

We are moving on to our third Book Club meeting covering Marie-Louise von Franz’s article “The Process of Individuation,” Chapter 3 of Carl Jung’s Man and his symbols text. This week we plan to look into the two sections in the middle of the chapter: “The Anima: The Woman Within” and “The Animus: The Man Within” (pp 177-195).
Even if you were not able to join us at the first two meetings, you are still encouraged to join us on May 31. Although the sections build on each other, they also stand on their own. This week’s facilitator will be Catherine Ballard.
