PAALS - Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services PAALS trains assistance dogs to help individuals with disabilities other than blindness or deafness.

PAALS mission is to enrich and empower children and adults with physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities by training service animals and providing animal assisted educational, therapeutic, and recreational activities. Our mission is to enrich and empower children and adults with physical disabilities and social needs by training service dogs and providing animal assisted educational and r

ecreational activities. These dogs can help with a vast array of tasks to assist with physical disabilities and social needs. Our assistance dogs to help individuals with mobility disabilities, veterans and others with PTSD/TBI and children with autism. We also train facility dogs who work with a professional in a variety of health, education or rehabilitation facilities. We also conduct many programs within our community to educated about service dogs and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
