PAALS - Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services PAALS trains assistance dogs to help individuals with disabilities other than blindness or deafness.

PAALS mission is to enrich and empower children and adults with physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities by training service animals and providing animal assisted educational, therapeutic, and recreational activities. Our mission is to enrich and empower children and adults with physical disabilities and social needs by training service dogs and providing animal assisted educational and r

ecreational activities. These dogs can help with a vast array of tasks to assist with physical disabilities and social needs. Our assistance dogs to help individuals with mobility disabilities, veterans and others with PTSD/TBI and children with autism. We also train facility dogs who work with a professional in a variety of health, education or rehabilitation facilities. We also conduct many programs within our community to educated about service dogs and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Name a PAALS puppy in honor or memory of a loved one, cherished pet, or someone special and become part of their journey from puppyhood to partnership. 💚

As your puppy grows and learns, you’ll receive a Puppy Name Sponsor Certificate along with quarterly updates and photos so you can follow their progress through training. If your pup becomes a PAALS assistance dog, you’ll receive VIP seating at Graduation to celebrate their incredible milestone!

Join us at Segra Park on Saturday, August 8, as our amazing volunteer, Will Spence, represents PAALS by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before the game.

Come cheer on Will, celebrate this special recognition, and help us show the community what PAALS is all about!
