Today’s groundbreaking is more than the start of construction. It’s a step toward a stronger Midlands, where more families have a place to call home and the opportunity to thrive.

đź“š MRC Reading Coach Spotlight

For the past four years, Montressa Ryan with Arden Elementary School, has partnered with the Midlands Reading Consortium (MRC) to help students build stronger reading skills and stronger confidence.

Through MRC, Montressa works alongside dedicated volunteers to tailor reading lessons to each student’s goals. The impact?

“Students are meeting their reading goals, their reading confidence is growing, and they look forward to their weekly reading sessions with the volunteers.”

We’re grateful for reading coaches like Montressa and the volunteers who show up each week to help Midlands students discover the joy and confidence that comes with reading. 💙
