Camp Discovery

Camp Discovery offers a variety of year-round programs and events that promote academic achievement, foster environmental literacy and act as a powerful stimulus for lifelong learning. Camp Discovery core programs fall into (3) major areas: School Outreach & Youth Development: Youth and educators in grades PreK-12 can visit Camp Discovery for high-quality, inquiry-based STEM experiences in Nature through Discovery Days field studies and Learners to Leaders project-based programs. Community Outreach & Citizen Science: Through meaningful and mutually beneficial collaborations with community partners (education, business, and public and social services), youth and adults are inspired to learn and grow through science, service and environmental stewardship opportunities and workshops. Professional Development: Camp Discovery offers a menu of professional development training and enrichment activities, both onsite and offsite, for current and future educators and leaders to engage and inspire through Nature.
