It was a Knight-tastic night as South Carolina PTA President Jess McKinley was privileged to join Mt. Gallant PTA Knights for their Family Welcome Night! Families attended this kickoff celebration and learned about PTA and ways they can partner and build their child’s school community. 💙🤍

Has your local unit’s officer information been updated for the 2026–2027 school year?

Please make sure your current officers are listed correctly in Givebacks so they receive important SCPTA communications, updates, resources, and information throughout the year.

✅ Log in to Givebacks
✅ Review your local unit’s officer information
✅ Include anyone who should receive communications, like Committee Chairs
✅ Make sure email addresses are accurate

Don’t let important information get missed! Take a few minutes to make sure your local unit’s officers are up to date.

This is a reminder for everyone that taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body.
Today, give yourself permission to pause. Whether that means:
☕ Savoring your morning coffee without rushing
📖 Reading a few pages of that book you’ve been meaning to start
🌞 Sitting outside and feeling the sun on your face
🧘‍♀️ Doing a short meditation or breathing exercise
Relaxation isn’t laziness—it’s recharging your battery. And the best part? It’s contagious. When we slow down and take care of ourselves, we model that balance for our kids, too.
So, let’s set an example: breathe deeply, smile often, and let a little calm in today. 💚
