Thursday's Lunch & Learn was a powerful reminder that women have always helped shape the story of United Way of the Midlands, and they continue to lead the way forward!

Thank you to Historic Columbia for bringing to life the stories of the women changemakers who helped build our legacy, and to BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina for sponsoring and hosting this special gathering.

We also got an exciting update on the Centennial Mural currently underway, celebrating 100 years of service and the community that makes our work possible. We're having so much fun discovering old United Way photos with Historic Columbia, especially when they capture the women who helped build our mission from the very beginning!

Long before online campaigns and digital donations, women showed up with a simple message: give what you can to help your neighbors.
