In Thurston County’s Family Recovery Court, parents are doing the hard work to rebuild their lives—and our community is showing up beside them every step of the way.

At a graduation, local social service worker Michael Rihtarich honored a participant with a traditional song and a woven blanket—symbolizing something deeper: being wrapped in community, culture, and care.

Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when people are seen, supported, and surrounded by others who believe in their future.
