The Dollar General Literacy Foundation (DGLF) recently awarded CCAC a $3,000 grant to support Summer early literacy! The funds contribute to a record-setting, single-day total of nearly $16 million in grants nationwide—supporting adult, family, and summer literacy programs in the 48 states where Dollar General operates. As June begins, we want to wish our community a meaningful and joyful Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈✨

Pride is both a celebration of love and a reminder of the ongoing journey toward true equity and inclusion. We are proud to stand alongside LGBTQIA+ individuals and families, working toward a future where everyone can live authentically and safely.

Let's use this month to listen, learn, celebrate, and actively support one another.

There is nothing better than hearing how our early learning programs are making a meaningful difference for local families! 🥰

A big thank you to this Pleasant Glade Early Learning Center parent for sharing their family's experience. From learning how to manage big emotions to practicing social skills with new friends, ECEAP classrooms provide a safe, nurturing space for children to grow into their full potential.

To all of our amazing early learning educators and partners who make these classrooms so magical every day—thank you for everything you do!
