Gluten Intolerance Group

Gluten Intolerance Group For 50 years, the Gluten Intolerance Group has been a leading resource for the gluten-free community.

The Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) has been empowering the gluten-free community through consumer support, advocacy, and education for five decades. GIG’s outreach is not only to those with gluten-related disorders but to everyone who has made the decision to live gluten-free. With the continued recognition of gluten-free dietary needs and the recent emphasis on gluten-free products and offerings,

our role in the community is more important now than ever. From providing community support through our local Branches, to being a leader in food safety certification, GIG is a top non-profit organization for consumers worldwide. Look for our GFCO (Certified Gluten-Free "Circle GF") logo on your favorite gluten-free foods, and our GFFS stamp of approval at restaurants across the country. We also have local branches and Generation GF kids groups -- we have something for everyone!

If you’ve been struggling with chronic bloating, fatigue, brain fog, or iron-deficiency anemia, it might be time to look closer. Celiac disease affects roughly 1 in 100 people, yet the vast majority remain undiagnosed.

So who needs to test for Celiac Disease?
1) Anyone experiencing persistent GI distress or unexplained fatigue.
2) Anyone with a first-degree relative (parent, sibling, child) diagnosed with celiac disease.

Crucial Step: Make sure to talk to your doctor before changing your diet. Going gluten-free before your blood test can cause a false negative.

Knowledge is power. Don't guess—get tested!

Have you wondered why Teen Summit has limited spots?

We want all gluten-free teens to truly feel like they belong, and smaller group settings make that possible. It's our goal to cultivate true connections & meaningful conversations. So, we keep it small because every teen matters.

We want each teen at Teen Summit to be seen, known, and cared for.

Register your teen today:

A special shoutout to Burtons Grill & Bar for helping make this event possible for teens everywhere!

A gluten-free diagnosis isn't the end of good food, it’s the beginning of a safer and healthier chapter.

Whether you've been gluten-free for ten days or ten years, take a second to celebrate how far you’ve come. You’ve learned a new language (ingredient labels!), mastered cross-contact safety, and advocated for your health. That’s worth celebrating.

At GIG, we hope to make your gluten-free path a little smoother every day. What’s a recent "gluten-free win" you’ve had? Share it below so we can cheer you on! 🎉

Some of these moments made us laugh.
Some made us stop and think.
And some… stayed with us long after the mic turned off.
This episode is a look back at Season 1, unfiltered, honest, and built on the people who make this community what it is.

The symptoms of Celiac Disease aren't the same for everyone. If something feels off, trust your instincts and talk to your healthcare provider about testing.

Once diagnosed, choosing certified gluten-free products can help take the guesswork out of everyday decisions. 💙
