A resilient food system starts with resilient seeds!

Join us on Wednesday, September 2nd to learn basic seed saving techniques that can be done in your backyard, while saving money and selecting for plants that grow well in our climate.

We’ll learn about which plants are good for beginner seed-savers, and how and when to harvest and store seeds. Let’s collectively invest in a locally-adapted and decentralized future!

The next GRuB Garden Project workshop has been rescheduled to August 19th from 6-8 pm! At the end of summer, our gardens often overflow with abundance! We’ll spend time in the garden and on the farm, learning to recognize when different vegetables are ready to pick. We will demonstrate harvest techniques for different vegetables, then continue in the kitchen to discuss storage and exchange ideas for preserving the summer’s bounty. We’ll also have time for a Q&A and to discuss seasonal tasks in the garden.

September 19th, 2026 • 5:00 - 8:00 PM

This year marks 25 years of growing healthy food, people, and community. 💚

This spring and summer, we’ve celebrated this milestone with a series of special events which will culminate at our Annual Harvest Soirée!

Join us for an evening welcoming 250+ guests and featuring fresh food from the Farm, stories that reflect the heart of our work, and an incredible meal prepared by our guest chefs, Chef Rick Mullins and Jamie Brayshaw, co-owners of Octapas.

The evening will honor the voices of program participants, staff, volunteers, and community partners who have helped make the last 25 years possible.

Due to the forecast for unsafe air quality from wildfire smoke, tonight’s Wednesday on the Farm events have been canceled.

This includes:
• Open Volunteer Hours
• Market Stand
• GRuB Garden Workshop (postponed to a later date—stay tuned for a new date!)

The safety of our community, volunteers, and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you back on the farm next time 💗

TODAY’S THE DAY! 🎪 CARNIVAL at GRuB starts at 4:30 pm! Swipe for deets!

Come on down to the farm this afternoon for face painting, a dunk tank, a scavenger hunt, farm tours, art activities, carnival games for all ages, and a resource garden full of local nonprofits to check out. Grab some farm-fresh food and a root beer float to cool off while you’re here!
