The results are in for the Hopeful Hog Festival on October 2-3, 2026.

Eleven competition BBQ teams met at Benford and Brewing Farm Life in Lancaster, SC to compete for bragging rights, prizes and trophies. Teams turned in their best pork and rib entries, which were then judged by South Carolina Barbeque Association Certified BBQ judges.

Thank you to organizer Barb Lundlam, Co-Founder of Village & Vessel Ministries. Proceeds from the Hopeful Hog Festival benefit Village and Vessel Ministries - a non profit supporting adoptive and foster families by helping cover essential expenses.

The results are in for the 2026 Project Host BBQ Cook-Off & Festival on September 25-26, 2026.

Eleven competition BBQ teams met at Fluor Field in Greenville, SC to compete for bragging rights, prizes and trophies. Their first challenge was the Friday “Anything But Pork” category. Then on Saturday they turned in their pork, rib and brisket entries, which were then judged by South Carolina Barbeque Association Certified BBQ judges.

Proceeds from the event will help fund Project Host's programs to fight food insecurity in the Greenville area, as well as support education and training at the CC Pearce Culinary School.

The results are in for the 12th Annual Grillers Cup held on September 18-19, 2026!

Twenty one competition BBQ teams met at the Lakewood Camping Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC to compete for bragging rights, prizes and trophies. Their first challenge was the Friday night wing cook off, which is always a crowd favorite! Then on Saturday they turned in their pork and rib entries, which were judged by South Carolina Barbeque Association Certified BBQ judges.

The South Carolina Barbeque Association would like to thank 2nd year organizer, Jaylan Swofford, who did a great job hosting. Proceeds from this years event, once again supports Backpack Buddies of Horry County.

Thanks to all the new teams who came out to compete for the first time, some from as far away as North Carolina. We are looking forward to seeing what they will bring to the field next year.

The results are in for the 2026 Sooie BBQ Cookoff

On September 11-12, 2026 23 competition BBQ teams met at the Mauldin Cultural Center in beautiful Mauldin, SC to compete for bragging rights, prizes and trophies. Their first challenge was the Friday night “Anything But Pork” category. Teams turned in their most creative and tasty non-pork entries and also served samples to the public! Then on Saturday they turned in their pork, rib and brisket entries, which were judged by South Carolina Barbeque Association Certified BBQ judges.

We would like to thank the city of Mauldin for continuing to put on this amazing annual event!
