Hey y'all!
We are back this week with all things Prism and Partners! Hey719 is now at Prism twice a week and this Thursday, walk-ins are welcome! Local community member, Deka Spears, will be at Prism this week to present a fun horror movie night with an analysis on how scary flicks can represent the cultural zeitgeist. If you're interested in mental health, a behavioral health clinician will be here on Friday and you can give us a call on Friday if you're curious about her availability!

Don't forget about Lavender Book Club in a few weeks! This month's book discussion will be about the book "Detransition, Baby" by Torrey Peters so be sure to get reading! If you're curious about the book or any trigger warnings, be sure to check out the event on our website!

If you're looking for something to compliment your October season, come to our Enchanted Wonderings Queering Skills this Friday where we will learn all things metaphysical, discussed open vs. closed practices, and how to build your very own alter!

Looking to update your vaccines? The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) will be here at Prism with its Mobile Vaccine Clinic on Friday, October 30, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM providing low- and no-cost vaccines to Coloradans of all ages. No ID or insurance is required to receive a vaccine.

Vaccines available include:
Hepatitis A • Hepatitis B • HPV • Meningitis • MMR • Mpox • Pneumonia • Polio • Tdap • Varicella

Vaccines are available while supplies last and are subject to change.

This month, we are partnering with ._rowe_price to bring you Fostering Financial Pride! Join us here at Prism on Thursday, October 29th from 6:30pm to 8pm for a course that explores the financial realities that shape LGBTQ+ lives and to get practical steps that can lead to greater financial stability and confidence!

We're hoping to get at least 10 people for the course so be sure the scan the QR code and register! Share it with friends and family! The course is free so be sure to sign-up ASAP to claim your spot!

On Thursday, October 22nd, explore horror films like "The Purge" and how horror reflects real world fears, identity, power, and marginalization. Anyone 18+ is welcome and there is no registration required!
