How many dental claims have you had denied? Legitimate claims? My dentist has submitted one claim several times. The Dentist associations have discovered that initial claims are reviewed by AI! A perfect example of economic diminishing return of investment if I ever saw one.

Some AI support company sold the insurance companies bad advice. How many claims have been denied by AI and hence must go through a second review by a real person? I, the customer HAVE to submit the Appeal or Grievance, not the dentist. How many people are willing to go through all of that to pay a dental care claim?

It is costing the insurance company much more to keep reviewing a document that could have been reviewed by a person more adequately and efficiently.

This is a form of economic and social discrimination against those of lower classes or those with limited experience with such paperwork. Consequently, the recovery by insurance companies to pay for the AI by using unpaid claims is costing their customers much more. In addition to the delay and second review, the insurance company will now suffer the loss of business, reputation, and overextended revenue for the lousy AI system. A perfect example of economic diminishing return of investment if I ever saw one.

I'm watching Netflix, Turning Point:The Bomb and the Cold War. Frankly, I'm concerned because I see similar tactics, particularly during the Pandemic years being used. I wanted to see if I could find similar documentary videos. Man! That took resolve to get through the propaganda to real testimonials of life. This video is on YouTube. It's just Too Much!!

Billions of dollars are pouring into the 2024 House, Senate and presidential races. I bet you’ve received a call (or 10) from folks asking you to pull out your wallet. The pleas come in text form, too, plus videos, social media posts and, yep, direct messages. I don’t care who you support — scammers come after us all.
… So you don’t fall for them. Here are a few do’s and don’ts for keeping your money safe:
Know their tricks …
Do verify it’s a real organization. Here’s a list of registered PACs maintained by the Federal Election Commission.
Do search for the PAC name. Hey, it’s worth it to see if anything shady pops up. Some funnel money to their own advisors and marketing budgets, not to the candidates they claim to support. This page is useful, too.
Do use a credit card if you donate. Checks and debit cards don’t have the same scam protections.
Don’t give payment info over the phone. Find the official website and donate there.
Don’t click links. That includes those in emails, texts or any other sources. When in doubt, visit the candidate’s or party’s official campaign website.
Pro tip: TikTok banned political fundraising in 2022. Anything you see there asking you to donate is likely a scam — or it’s someone skirting the rules, and you don’t want to be involved with that, either.
False info is spreading faster than ever
It’s not just your wallet you need to worry about. Fake news travels quickly online. I’ve seen everything from “The election is canceled” to “Non-citizens get to vote this year.”

In some cases, foreign countries are behind these massive misinformation campaigns. Meta says the Kremlin is the No. 1 source (paywall link) of AI-created misinformation ahead of the U.S. presidential election.

The most common trick on Facebook? Imaginary “journalists” who write bogus news stories. If it’s a news outlet you’ve never heard of, look elsewhere to corroborate the story.

Vote No Colorado.... My kitties are my kids at home. They are innocent and we must protect them from bad actors.... "Colorado peeps-PLEASE vote against this measure. It creates a “mid level” professional somewhere between a DVM and a licensed accredited vet tech/nurse. HOWEVER there are (and there likely won’t be as no funding or interest) NO standards in place for their education (except it will be far less than a DVMs), no protocols for liability ( as it stands a DVM will need to be supervising and liable for this midlevel’s actions) and will likely result in both DVMs and licensed techs leaving the professions and resulting in lower quality care for pets.
If we really want to help the number of providers for pet health care it would be optimal to get rid of corporate takeovers of the profession (go back to when at least one direct owner had to be a DVM), advocate for license portability (right now it is an onerous, expensive and time delayed process of getting tested and licensed for each state), and push for the reccomenation from the FTC (currently stopped by court system) new rule that was to do away with non-compete clauses. Any and all of these 3 suggestions would do far more to increase access to pet health care while simultaneously increasing its quality, as the DVMs who love and want to do this job would be better able to do so. Thank you for your time."
