"What does COSILoveYou do besides CityServe?"

We get that question a lot.

The short answer is this: we help people who care about Colorado Springs find one another.

Sometimes that looks like gathering English- and Spanish-speaking pastors around a table to build friendship and unity. Sometimes it means connecting educators with community partners who can help carry the weight of caring for students and families. Sometimes it means bringing together leaders from churches, nonprofits, businesses, and government to address challenges no one organization can solve alone. Sometimes it means gathering leaders from across the city to pray.

While CityServe may be our most visible work, much of what we do happens between the events, around tables, inside conversations, and through relationships.

A Flourishing city is not built by a single organization. It is built when people learn to trust one another, work together, and seek the good of their neighbors.

That's the work we get to be part of every day with many of you.

Last week, Lion's Path Preschool opened its doors at Discovery Church — a beautiful picture of a local church putting its faith into action for the families of Colorado Springs.

We are grateful for another amazing CityServe Day. Thousands of volunteers showed up at nonprofits, schools and neighborhods ready to make an impact.

To every volunteer that served Friday or Saturday, thank you! CityServe is more than just an event, it's a public display of people that love their city. If you missed us this spring, be sure to mark your calendars for Fall CityServe happening October 2nd and 3rd.
