It’s always a special day when we get to introduce a GROUP of special guest bartenders for our 12th Annual POURING Possibilities: Celebrity Bartending Competition, but it’s even more exciting when that group is our very own Adult Social Club! 💙

This year, our Adult Social Club is joining the competition with their Bee’s Knees Mocktail! 🍯🍋 Made with honey, lemon juice, ice and ginger ale, this refreshing drink is sure to bring a little extra sweetness to the competition!

Help our Adult Social Club buzz their way to the top! 🐝Donate to support their drink submission and help Rec2Connect continue providing inclusive recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families throughout Northeast Ohio.

Casting! 🎣

Last Saturday, we spent a great afternoon at the Astorhurst Pond learning all about fishing! Our participants learned about different species of fish in the pond, how to hook bait, and how to safely remove fish from the hook so they can get back in the water.

Thank you to Cleveland Metroparks for having us! We all enjoyed soaking in the sunshine and are definitely taking advantage of these last few warm days! 🩵

On Tuesdays we climb! 🧗
This past Tuesday some of our families got the opportunity to participate in Caregiver Climbing at Cleveland Rocks!

Our staff demonstrated the proper ways to tie lines, explained how to grip certain rocks on the walls, and helped climbers build confidence. The different levels of climbs offered different mental puzzles that kept our brains going strong! 💪
