This celebration has always been powered by the people—artists, performers, vendors, volunteers, and attendees—who bring their time, energy, and love to this space. It’s a reminder that moments like this don’t just happen…they’re built together.

This new certification is designed for small and medium-sized businesses that are not majority LGBTQ+ owned but are committed to supporting and engaging with the LGBTQ+ and allied business community. It provides a credible, nationally recognized way for businesses to demonstrate their commitment as an LGBTQ+ community ally while expanding opportunities for visibility, engagement, and growth.

When a government agency characterizes detransitioners broadly as "victims" of "predatory" medicine, it transforms a nuanced clinical reality into a political narrative.

We can affirm and support people who detransition without using their experiences to invalidate the care, autonomy, and lived experiences of the many transgender people who benefit from gender-affirming care. Compassion and evidence demand that we hold space for both truths.

The concern is that this settlement appears to redefine detransition as evidence of institutional wrongdoing. Cleveland Clinic itself indicated that these services already existed. Standards of care already recognize that some patients may alter the course of treatment, and individualized support for changing needs has long been embedded within affirming care.

Detransition remains relatively uncommon and occurs for a wide variety of reasons. People who detransition deserve compassionate, evidence-based support and access to the care they need.

Cleveland Clinic commits $2 million to detransition care in DOJ settlement.

The hospital also agreed to not provide pediatric gender-affirming care for two decades, though state law already severely restricts that type of care.
