BSA international travel ban information…

International Travel Ban Lifted:
BSA's ban on international travel has been lifted. As your units prepare to travel internationally please have them refer to https://www.scouting.org/international/events/ for resources on planning an international trip.

Procedures for International Visitors Attending BSA Events:
Several councils have had international Scouts and units reach out to them requesting to attend events and summer camps in the US. There are several items that should be completed prior to their approval to attend. The most important step is obtaining a roster of those planning to attend your camp or event. Once you have obtained the roster please send to [email protected]. The International Department will contact the National Scout Organization (NSO) to verify that those attending are in good standing with their NSO. Each attendee 18 or older will also need to complete the BSA’s Youth Protection training. The Boy Scouts of America's Delegation to the World Scout Conference & World Scout Youth Forum met virtually today to plan and prepare for the Conference which will happen next month.

In August 2021, the 42nd World Scout Conference and 14th World Scout Youth Forum will bring together delegations from 172 National Scout Organizations and global partners to shape the future of the world’s leading educational youth movement.

Scout Scarf Day is August 1st!

The idea is to wear your scarf, neckerchief, or necker in public (or in the comfort of your home). Then post a picture on social media to make the "Spirit of Scouting" visible: Once a Scout - Always a Scout!

Happy St. Patrick's Day BSA Contingent MOOT registration has opened!

Registration for the BSA Contingent - World Scout Moot 2022 is now OPEN! 🥳🥳🙌

If you will be between the ages of 18 and 26 on July 18th, 2022 — this will be a global Scouting adventure that you will not want to miss!

We are selecting 275 young people to represent the BSA in Ireland. Participants must be willing to fully commit to the moot experience, immerse themselves in Irish culture, join an international patrol and collaborate with 5,000 other young leaders committed to creating a better world by ending poverty, fighting inequality, addressing climate change, seeking to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, etc.

An additional 75 adults over the age of 27 are being recruited to join the International Service Team working alongside Scouting Ireland to execute this incredible World Scouting event.
