On Friday we posted a TikTok and it’s currently over 16k+ views, thousands of engagements, and tons of people wanting to donate items for our drive. We are truly shocked at the amount of people that video has reached, and even more blown away by the response from the greater Cleveland community.

Thank you to everyone who has helped give items to support our unhoused neighbors. Thank you to everyone who shared our video and told your friends about our drive.

These items are incredibly important, and will be crucial the surviving the coming winter. Items you give don’t have to be brand new, they can be used from your home. We only ask underwear & socks be new, considering, ya know. lol.

Speaking frankly here, we have seen a concerning increase in needs from our participants - including new participants too.

More people are being displaced, and are now in the shuffle trying to find a safe space to exist.
It's not just the needs that have increased but the kind of needs that are also more intense. Lots of DV, lots of people losing access to their snap, their phones, and desperately need support. We're doing our best to appropriately refer folks to where they need to go based on their priority needs.

With that being said, we could use your help with some of the more tangible items like sleeping bags, tents, and blankets. See page 2 to see our flyer for today, check the link in our bio to see our wishlist of all the things we need.
As always, let us know if you have questions about donating items. We'll gladly accept a used tent or sleeping bag as long as it has all the parts.

Thank you so much to our friends at Oberlin Street Medicine Initiative for showing up to help support our participants who need wound care, and helping us fill orders getting supplies into the community

Oberlin Street Medicine is a new student run initiative that we’ll be sharing more about in the future. These students took it upon themselves to see a need in their community & take action to fill the gaps. We are inspired by their collective determination to step up to the plate and jump into the work with a harm reduction lens.

Our table is loaded up with plates, cutlery, juice boxes and fruit! Our fridge is filled with pancake batter, eggs, sausage links, and yogurt. We have been shopping and preparing and setting up for the morning 🤗

Our office hours for donations this week are Monday-Friday from 9-5pm. We prefer to not take donations on Thursdays because that’s our busiest day of the week serving our participants.
