Adaptive rowing makes the water accessible to athletes of differing abilities. With the right equipment, coaching, and volunteer support, everyone can build strength, confidence, and connection through the sport of rowing. Different abilities, same water, same team, same passion for rowing. We are proud to partner with NEOARS to make rowing in Cleveland more accessible. https://aptcenter.research.va.gov/programs/activity-based-neurorehab/neoars/

Rowing builds more than strong athletes—it builds confident young women. Watching these athletes push themselves, support each other, and celebrate every stroke reminds us that the lessons learned on the water last a lifetime. Here’s to the next generation of strong, determined rowers. 💜🚣🏻‍♀️

A huge thank you to the The Port of Cleveland for helping make these unforgettable summer experiences possible. Together, we’re opening doors, building confidence, and creating lifelong connections to our river.

Congratulations to Daniel Oldfield on being named the next Head Crew Coach at Saint Joseph Academy! We're excited to welcome Dan into this role and look forward to continuing our strong partnership as he leads the Jaguars into their next chapter.

We'd also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Coach Rob Zdankiewicz for 15 years of extraordinary leadership. Rob helped build one of the region's premier scholastic rowing programs while positively impacting generations of student-athletes. His dedication, sportsmanship, and commitment to excellence have left a lasting mark not only on Saint Joseph Academy, but on the entire Cleveland rowing community.

Thank you, Rob, for everything you've done for the sport, and congratulations, Dan! We can't wait to see what the future holds for SJA Crew and are proud to continue calling you part of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation family.

For 30 years, the Head of the Cuyahoga has brought thousands of athletes, volunteers, families, and fans together on the banks of the Cuyahoga River. 💙🚣

This year, we're celebrating that incredible legacy, and we're inviting you to be part of it.

If the Head of the Cuyahoga has ever been part of your story—as a rower, coach, volunteer, sponsor, or spectator—we hope you'll consider making a gift to help us celebrate our 30th Anniversary and invest in the future of this hometown tradition.

Every gift supports the athletes, volunteers, safety operations, and race experience that make HOTC one of the nation's premier regattas.

As a thank you, everyone who donates $75 or more will receive a limited-edition 30th Anniversary HOTC T-shirt—available only through this campaign and never sold at the regatta.

Every gift moves us forward.

Back on the water—and making waves.

This week, one of our NE OARS athletes took to the Cuyahoga for just the second time. It's a great reminder that rowing really can be a sport for everyone.

NE OARS has become an important part of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation community, creating opportunities for veterans and athletes with disabilities to get on the water and experience all that rowing has to offer.

Through a partnership with the VA Spinal Cord Injury Unit, participants use rowing as part of their rehabilitation journey—building strength, confidence, independence, and a connection to the river that runs through our city.

Programs like NE OARS show what's possible when access, community, and opportunity come together. We're proud to support this work and excited to see where the next stroke takes them.

It takes our entire rowing community to make these experiences possible. Thank you for helping introduce the next generation to the Mighty Cuyahoga!
