Hot off its launch, Great Lakes Brewing Company brought its brand-new aSPLASH straight to the Head of the Cuyahoga b**r tent — and it absolutely lived up to its name.

We’re grateful to Great Lakes for jumping in with us and celebrating the waterways, riverfront and recreation that make Cleveland so special.

The annual event, one of the nation's largest single-day rowing competitions, brought about 2,000 athletes from across the country to Rivergate Park to race a nearly 5,000-meter course through the heart of Cleveland's working river.

We are proud to celebrate 30 years of the Head of the Cuyahoga—an iconic Cleveland sporting tradition that brings together athletes, spectators and our rowing community in a celebration of competition, community and the Cuyahoga River. It is a privilege to host an event that means so much to our city and to generations of rowers who have raced these waters.

The annual one-day regatta is expected to attract about 2,000 people to the Cuyahoga River.
