🚇 You can walk through Cleveland’s abandoned subway for FREE once a year. Save this year’s date!

Most people have no idea this exists beneath the Veterans Memorial Bridge.

Hidden below the roadway is a long-closed streetcar subway complete with original tracks, stations, and tunnels that have been preserved for decades. It’s one of Cleveland’s most fascinating hidden places—and one of the rare opportunities to experience a piece of the city’s history that is normally closed to the public.

On June 27, visitors can explore the lower level of the bridge, learn about its history, and see ongoing efforts to revitalize the space for future public use.

Make a day of it with the America 250 Picnic in the Park at Canal Basin Park featuring food trucks, live music, family-friendly activities, and more.
