A little holiday cheer is brewing. 🎄🍻

Great Lakes Brewing Company kicks off Christmas Ale season tomorrow, Oct 15, with its annual First Pour party. The first cans, bottles and kegs of the seasonal holiday favorite will be available exclusively at the GLBC gift shop beginning October 16, with store shelves stocked starting October 20.

New renderings offer a look at the future of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. ✈️

As part of CLEvolution, the airport’s $1.6 billion modernization program, new plans show two concourses connected to a new terminal headhouse, on-site rental car facilities and expanded parking capacity.

Improvements are already underway, including the Gold Lot Parking Development Project, which will add 1,600 parking spaces by early 2027.

The next major step is a $301 million, 6,000-space parking garage featuring a new Ground Transportation Center and relocated RTA Red Line station. Expected to open in 2029, the project will help pave the way for a new terminal targeted for 2032.

Together, these improvements will create a more connected, convenient travel experience and prepare Cleveland Hopkins for the region’s future growth.

Cleveland ranks among the top five U.S. cities for young professionals and recent graduates, according to a new study from JobLeads. 🎓

The ranking puts Cleveland at No. 5 among the nation’s 50 largest metro areas, based on how much of an entry-level worker’s salary remains after paying rent. The study also identified 7,763 entry-level job openings in the Cleveland metro, highlighting the region’s potential for early-career talent.

Steris is acquiring Pittsburgh-area medical device maker Xodus Medical for $2.1 billion in a deal that would expand the company’s surgical safety business. 🏥

Founded in Mentor in 1985, STERIS maintains its operational headquarters in Greater Cleveland, where it employs approximately 2,000 people. The company also announced a $60 million investment in its Mentor manufacturing operations earlier this year.

The acquisition is expected to close by Dec. 31, pending regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.

Fall is putting on a show in Greater Cleveland. 🍂

Yahoo has included Cuyahoga Valley National Park among nine national parks across the country highlighted for spectacular fall foliage.

Sugar and red maples bring shades of red, orange and yellow to the valley, with Brandywine Falls, Ledges Overlook, Kendall Lake and the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail offering scenic ways to take in the season.

The National Park Service says peak color typically arrives around the third week of October, making the coming weeks a prime time to experience fall in the valley.
