Get ready to groove with Earth, Wind & Fire.

With a new tour on the way, the 2000 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees are expected to revisit their timeless hits like “Let’s Groove,” which helped solidify the crew of nine as one of the defining R&B groups of their era.

“Let’s Groove” spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B chart, while also peaking at No. 3 on the Hot 100. It became Earth, Wind & Fire’s seventh and final top 10 hit on the Hot 100.

“Boys Don’t Cry” became The Cure’s first song to cross one billion streams on Spotify.

“Boys Don’t Cry” wasn’t a hit in 1979 by any standards. But after The Cure re-recorded and re-released the single in 1986, it landed on the charts, peaking at No. 22 on the U.K. Singles chart.

The song's second wave of chart success came nearly 50 years after its initial release, when it gained traction on TikTok with fan-made mashups with songs like Olivia Rodrigo’s “good 4 u.” It reappeared on the U.K. Singles chart in 2026, once again peaking at No. 22.

Bruce Springsteen took the stage with his famed band, 2014 Inductees the E Street Band, to perform “Promised Land" at his 1999 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

Originally featured on their 1978 album Darkness on the Edge of Town, "Promised Land" has become one of Bruce Springsteen's most enduring anthems, capturing his signature themes of hope, struggle, freedom, and the pursuit of something greater.

With the E Street Band behind him, Springsteen turned the ceremony stage into a full-blown rock & roll performance, bringing the song’s sense of determination and possibility to life.

More than two decades after its release, “Promised Land” remains a powerful reminder of the connection between Springsteen, the E Street Band, and the audiences who followed them throughout their careers.

Mark Knopfler’s ode to London’s West End.

On June 9, 1978, 2018 Inductees Dire Straits released their debut studio album, Dire Straits, featuring songs that would go on to become some of their most celebrated, like “Sultans of Swing” and this atmospheric ode to London, “Wild West End.”

Later certified double platinum in both the United States and the United Kingdom, the album established the group as a songwriting powerhouse — with lead guitarist Mark Knopfler proving from the very beginning that he always understood the assignment.

The Warning Gowns, 2024 | These gowns were worn by sisters Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal of The Warning at the 2024 Latin GRAMMYs Awards. Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, The Warning went viral for their 2014 cover of 2009 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Metallica's "Enter Sandman," reaching over 27 million views on YouTube.

The Warning has now taken the world by storm, touring with Yungblud, Halsey, and 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Foo Fighters, among other noteworthy acts. Bassist Alejandra Villareal said, "We're so happy that more and more women are getting these opportunities —not just on stage, but in the crews, in the media, behind the scenes. There's just a lot more women around now, and we're glad it's changing. Hopefully one day, it won't be something people point out anymore because it'll just be normal."

James Taylor honoring Joni Mitchell 💙

At Joni Mitchell's 1997 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, her longtime friend and 2000 Inductee James Taylor took the stage to honor her with a performance of “Woodstock,” one of her most enduring songs.

Released on Mitchell’s 1970 album Ladies of the Canyon, “Woodstock” was famously covered by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young on their album DĂ©jĂ  Vu.

Inspired by the legendary four-day Woodstock Music and Art Fair held in 1969, Mitchell’s song tells the story of a concert-goer making his way to Max Yasgur’s farm. Though Mitchell herself did not attend the festival, her then-boyfriend Graham Nash performed with Crosby, Stills & Nash, and his firsthand accounts of the experience helped inspire the song.
