2021 was quite a year… it was a year where the reality of Rett really became a difficult reality moreso than ever before.

There was a lot of loss within the Rett community and our thoughts and prayers are with those families. 💔

Personally we had a huge scare with our own Claire back in August to where we weren’t sure how things would turn out for her. It was touch and go for weeks ending with a 40 day stay in the hospital. Hardest and scariest days we’ve ever experienced.

2021 was quite a year.

With the bad came the good though… so much good and we thank you!! Holy Trinity school, we thank you for your Color Run, your fundraiser and the movie you made to capture it all - so so amazing. We thank those who held their lemonade stands ❤️ We thank those who have reached out and donated, supported, and in the process of doing so, also raised awareness along the way. We thank the high school football players who wore their purple bracelets… For our local community who supported us the way they did especially after hearing what Claire specifically was battling. We thank Rett University - for continuing to show us all how these kiddos are smart and just need the right people and tools in place to unlock their worlds… because when you do, watch out!!! You will be amazed. 💚💜
