A big day for us yesterday! We officially broke ground on the redevelopment of Park Village Apartments, marking a new chapter of continued investment in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood.

The celebration brought together residents, funders, development partners and community leaders who have helped make this vision possible. We were also honored to welcome representatives from the Offices of Rep. Shontel Brown and Councilwoman Stephanie D. Howse, and State Rep. Terrence Upchurch who are also committed to strengthening our neighborhoods.

Thank you to everyone continues to believe in the future of Park Village.

The shovels have officially hit the ground—and we’re just getting started!

BACK 2 SCHOOL FAMILY FEST!

School is almost back in session, and Hough Expanded Academic Learning (HEAL) is kicking things off with a celebration for the whole family!

Join them Thursday, August 20th from 4:30–6:30 PM at Thurgood Marshall Green for food, music, family fun, and some serious back-to-school vibes!

- DJ Yomi Yom will be bringing the vibes
- Carter’s BBQ will be serving it up while it lasts
- Connect, celebrate, and get ready for a great school year!

This event is for families whose children attend Daniel E. Morgan, Wade Park, and Willson.

Famicos Foundation is hosting a Safe Sleep Training for pregnant moms, new moms with babies under age 1, and dads!

Participants will learn important safe sleep practices designed to help keep babies safe and give families greater peace of mind.

Cleveland residents who complete the training will receive $50!

All are welcome to attend. Please bring proof of pregnancy (MyChart, doctor documentation, etc.) or your baby’s birth certificate.

Our Free Tax Prep Workshop wrapped up, and we couldn't be more inspired by the dedicated group of attendees who joined us ready to take control of their financial futures.
