What a beautiful and powerful evening it was. ✨

Our Ninth Annual “Where Would America Be Without Me?!” celebration at Catholic Charities Fatima Family Center was truly one for the books.

Together, we reflected on a century of Black excellence, innovation, resilience, and impact. From inspiring conversations to powerful exhibits highlighting the contributions and inventions that shaped this nation, the room was filled with pride, learning, and community.

Families gathered. Stories were shared. History was honored not as something distant, but as something living and present in each of us.

Thank you to every guest, volunteer, partner, and supporter who made this celebration meaningful. Your presence helped create an atmosphere of reflection, joy, and deep appreciation.

If you joined us, we hope you left inspired. If you missed it, stay connected. The legacy continues, and we look forward to celebrating with you again next year. 💛

Healing takes time, and no one should have to go through it alone.

Grief is not only about losing someone to death. It can also come from divorce, health problems, financial stress, or major life changes. Many people learn how to cope, but healing is different. Healing happens when you have a safe space to talk, reflect, and be supported.

The Healing Through Community Emotional Wellness Grief Recovery Group offers a welcoming, culturally sensitive space for community members to heal together. This 8-week group is free and designed to help you strengthen your emotional wellness and find support.

At Fatima Family Center, this question guides our work every day.

Through service, compassion, and faith in action, we walk alongside families, uplift our neighbors, and strive to build a community where dignity, justice, and love are lived, not just spoken.

Today, we honor Dr. King not only by remembering his words, but by answering his call.
