The October 2026 issue of “Carolina Arts” is ready to download - all 94 pages, which you can download at (www.carolinaarts.com) for free. This issue is not as big as last month’s issue, but it’s still a whopper. There’s lots of stuff in there. On our cover this month is a work by Lowcountry artist Vida Miller, who is the official poster artist for the 37th Annual Georgetown Wooden Boat Show, held Oct. 17–18, 2026, in Historic Downtown Georgetown, SC. Miller’s pastel, “Old Fish House,” captures the character and history of Georgetown’s working waterfront. Miller used to own and run the Gray Man Gallery in Pawleys Island, SC, which she has now sold. She will be signing posters during the boat show and I’m sure at other locations in the Grand Strand area. You can read about the show and Miller on Page 42 of this issue. So download your free copy now and start surfing through it to see what interest you. Art walks will be coming soon - on Friday. And, it should be better weather to get out in the evening. So go see some art. Go fall in love with some art. And, by all means, go buy some art to take home or for early holiday gifts. That’s coming soon too.
