Art gallery in downtown Charleston featuring 70 local artists & photographers. The Charleston Artist Guild is a non profit organization.

Visit our gallery at 160 East Bay Street featuring more than 70 artists & photographers! We are open 7 days a week, 11-5pm. The Charleston Artist Guild is dedicated to serving the Arts Community of Charleston providing education in all aspects of the art world: workshops for the practicing artist or photographer, lectures for the burgeoning collector, and community outreach to serve the needs of the greater society through art.

"November Gold" 6x6 acrylic painting by CAG Gallery artist Debbie Daniels. Debbie hopes that when you spend time with her landscape paintings, you feel a bit of that stillness—a small invitation to pause and be somewhere beautiful for a while. "Three Amigos" oil painting by CAG Gallery artist Erica Brooks. Erica is originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia. She began creating art at a young age and went on to earn a BFA as well as an MFA in Fine Art and an MA in Illustration from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Her work includes still life, portraits, pet portraits, and plein air painting.

"Love in the Moonlight", mixed media, by CAG Gallery artist Elena Evangelidou. Elena is an abstract artist who moved from Athens, Greece, to Charleston. She uses acrylics with mixed media with gold, silver, and copper leaf mostly in earth colors on canvas or wood. Stop by and see her unique artwork at the CAG Gallery!

"Foggy Edisto Morning" by CAG Gallery artist Debbie Grogen. Debbie's work spans watercolors, pastels, oils, and alcohol ink, known for vibrant color that blends realism with abstraction. Living in the Lowcountry inspires much of her work — coastal scenes and landscapes are a specialty, alongside portraiture and florals. See more at the CAG Gallery, 160 E. Bay Street, Charleston. "Koi Twins" by CAG Gallery artist Claudia Interrante. Claudia's process varies—sometimes a photo inspires the pour, other times she pours freely and discovers the subject later. Either way, she stays open to the outcome, trusting the process and no two pieces are the same.

"Home Sweet Home Roses 2" by CAG Gallery artist Deborah Palmer. With a BFA from Skidmore College under her belt, Deborah spent the next 30 years in the commercial art world as an art director in advertising and as a graphic designer. Upon retirement she went back to the study of landscape painting. See more of her work at the CAG Gallery, 160 E. Bay Street. Hours are daily from 11-5pm.

"Spring Awakening" 20x20 oil on canvas by CAG Gallery artist Barbara Greaux. Barbara has been an oil painter for the past twenty years and earned a Masters in Art at Jersey City University. As you view her paintings, you will notice a wide variety of subjects and styles. Barbara paints at the moment and whatever picture she has in her mind, comes through in different styles. Stop by the gallery to see Barbara's unique artwork.
