Charleston Outlaws Rugby Charleston Outlaws RFC are the only Senior Men’s rugby club in Charleston, SC. CGRU Champions 21-22, 22-23, and GRU Champions 23-24.

Founded in 1973, the Outlaws currently compete in the USAR Gulf Coast Region, Georgia Rugby Union, Division 3. Charleston Outlaws RFC are a non-profit Men's competitive rugby football club based out of Charleston, SC. We are registered with the SC Secretary of State as a corporation with a 501(c)(7) designation.

Your Outlaws showed up and showed out at the first Battle at the Beach Tournament. Despite two day 1 wins against Asheville & Gypsy Kittens, the boys ultimately fell to the Columbia Rhinos in a very physical game, despite playing with only 10 actual club members.

The team would like to start off by thanking Myrtle Beach Rugby for hosting the tournament and inviting us to compete; It was a great weekend of rugby!

We would also like to thank all the guys who helped us out on day 2 to really slug it out against a strong team, giving us a real chance to run our system and give some of our younger guys strong experience & minutes.

Last, we would like to thank our sponsors, and hope to see you all for our home opener against Macon at the end of September!

Sign up now for the Level 1 Referee Course! Open to everyone. It's a great way for players to learn more about the game even if you are not interesting in becoming a match official.

To sign up: Go to Rugby Explorer and Sign-In with your user ID.

Cost of the course is $85.

Preparation consists of two (2) free, online courses (‘Rugby Ready’ and ‘Concussion Management for the General Public’) taken through World Rugby's Passport website @ Rugby Explorer Learning Center.
