Patriot Art Foundation founder, Mary Whyte has been very busy this spring and summer with two exhibitions which are currently on view at the Grohmann Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, South Carolina. In the ‘We The People: Portraits of In America’ is on view through August 23rd, and the ‘SALT of the EARTH’ exhibit in is on view through September 27th. If you live or will be visiting these locations in the coming months, please do visit these wonderful institutions featuring one of America’s premier .

REGISTER TODAY FOR OUR FALL CLASS!
All veterans with ID are eligible for our online classes covering the fundamentals of watercolor. Learn how to paint different subject matter while working at your own pace and in your own home. It’s FREE and it’s fun! At the end of the six week session you will have the option of engaging in small on line zoom groups to discuss and see what other veterans have been creating. The Patriot Art Foundation, in partnership with Patriots Point Development Authority and the Army Historical Foundation, will host the Fifth Annual ‘Art of Valor’ on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at two locations below and online:

• USS Yorktown, Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum

• National Museum of the U.S. Army
1775 Liberty Drive
Fort Belvoir, VA

• Online – a virtual participation option is available for veterans nationwide who signup.

FIFTH ANNUAL ‘ART OF VALOR’ EVENT.

The Patriot Art Foundation is partnering with VA hospitals across the country to offer free online classes in drawing and watercolor. For more information, interested VA facilities can contact: [email protected] All art materials are supplied FREE of charge to VA participants. Our small, weekly two hour classes are hosted by both a professional artist and a VA certified art therapist, and continue for eight weeks.
