Have you gotten a call from someone claiming to be law enforcement and asking you to pay a fine for missing jury duty? It's a SCAM.
Remember:
👉Real courts handle missed jury service through mailed notices and court appearances, not surprise calls.
👉Scammers often pressure targets to stay on the phone so there’s little time to verify claims.
👉Requests for payment or personal data are designed to steal money or enable identity theft.

It’s a beautiful night at the Vermont Lake Monsters to “Strike Out Scams!” AARP fraud fighter volunteers are here offering tips and advice, we have videos and graphics on the concourse TVs and Jumbotron, and every time a base is stolen a special announcement is made about stopping scams.
