Roswell Park Alliance Foundation Raising funds to benefit life-saving cancer research and patient-care programs at Roswell Park!💙

In 1989, Anne Gioia’s four year old daughter Katherine was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and began her treatment at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. After Katherine’s untimely death, Anne, her sister Donna and 50 of their friends and business partners joined together to raise funds and public awareness for Roswell Park. In 1991, the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation was established

to formally manage all donations to Roswell Park. Today, the Alliance Foundation has contributed over $455 million to promising lifesaving research, treatment and prevention programs, while supporting the psychosocial needs of patients and families touched by cancer. Funds raised by the community through events and programs are a critical component of the Alliance Foundation’s ability to continue to give hope to cancer patients.

Research changes everything. It gave Maria hope, preserved her dream of having a family, and helped save her life. Your gift can do the same for someone else.
After being diagnosed with cancer at 26, Maria turned to Roswell Park for treatment – and for hope. Thanks to the swift actions of her doctors, she underwent IVF and egg retrieval with hope of one day starting a family, began chemotherapy and completed her treatment in time to walk down the aisle.

Happy National Dog Day to some of the most paw-some members of the Roswell Park community! 🐾💙

For patients navigating cancer, healing goes beyond medical treatment. Thanks to donor support, Roswell Park’s quality-of-life programs help care for the whole person — supporting patients’ mental, emotional and spiritual well-being throughout their cancer journey.

Our therapy dogs are part of that mission, bringing comfort, companionship and plenty of smiles to patients and families when they need them most. Sometimes, a wagging tail and a little unconditional love can make all the difference🐶

This , we’re celebrating these four-legged friends and the joy they bring to Roswell Park every day.

A big thank you to the Allegany Mountain Resort community for another incredible Team Roswell fundraiser!

Led by Jim Warner, this year's event featured a golf cart wash, a basket raffle, 50/50 drawing and hot dog luncheon. Together, they raised an amazing $4,120 to support the most pressing needs at Roswell Park. This was the second year of this special event, and we’re grateful for everyone who helped make it a success!
