If you’re someone who’s looking to work closely with an amazing leadership team and Board of Directors to support several Brooklyn communities, we’re hiring an Executive Initiatives & Board Liasion ✨

💙Part-Time, hybrid position at our office space in Brooklyn
💙$35/hour for 21 hours a week
💙Work Stipend + Annual Stipend

From Monday, August 17th through October, we’ve got Info Sessions, Office Hours, and our Thrivable Application Workshop Series lined up to help teaching artists and grant applicants put their best application forward.

Whether you’re eyeing our teaching artist programs or one of our grant opportunities, we’ve got a session for you!

🎨 Brooklyn Arts Council is proud to be named a featured grantee in Brooklyn Org ‘s Brooklyn Backs Brooklyn campaign, part of a $240,000 investment in the cultural institutions sustaining our borough’s creative life.

Named within the campaign’s Brooklyn’s Cultural Future focus area, this support recognizes the role BAC plays every day: backing Brooklyn’s artists and cultural workers through grants, artist services, education, and neighborhood-rooted investment that keeps our creative ecosystem strong. 💙

At a moment when the arts, DEI, and community-rooted institutions face mounting pressure nationally, Brooklyn Org’s commitment is a clear statement: Brooklyn protects and invests in its own.
