If you happen to be reading this from a picnic blanket, a park bench, or under the trees right now, take a look around—this open green space is exactly what we are working together to protect.

We are incredibly close to hitting our $125,000 goal to fund the park's summer maintenance, free community programs, and volunteer resources. If you have spent a morning resting under our historic canopy, watched a movie on the lawn, or watched your kids play here this spring, you know just how much this space matters.

Every single dollar counts right now. Because our Board is matching every gift 1-for-1, your impact is automatically doubled until midnight. Donate at bit.ly/step-up-fgpc

When you give to the Fort Greene Park Conservancy, you aren't just funding park maintenance. You are keeping cultural programming free, accessible, and local. You are funding things like World Cinema Nights and Q***rly Beloved: Pride Shorts in the Park, which bring neighbors together on the lawn for film screenings under the stars. Your support also keeps our educational Black History and Culture Tour of Fort Greene going, and funds neighborhood mainstays like Halloween Fest, now entering its 25th year of bringing families to the park.

With our 1-for-1 board match active through Sunday, a $50 gift from you puts $100 directly into the community programs that keep our neighborhood connected. Donate at bit.ly/step-up-fgpc

With just 5 days left in our spring campaign, a group of our generous Board Members has stepped up to help us cross the finish line. Starting right now, every dollar you donate will be matched 1-for-1, up to $25,000.

For the next five days –
🌱 Your $25 becomes $50: Purchases supplies for our Young Naturalists events for kids.
🌱 Your $50 becomes $100: Provides stipends for our Green Team teen youth environmental education program.
🌱 Your $100 becomes $200: Supports our four conservancy-funded park workers who handle our summer events and daily maintenance.

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to give, this is it! Your impact is literally doubled today. Donate at bit.ly/step-up-fgpc (link in bio)
