Throughout the course of my high school career, I have especially been challenged with the amount of time I have. Typical to so many high school students, I found myself to be quite a procrastinator. At one point in my junior year, I had an epiphany that, has ever since, changed the way I approach life. After watching a multitude of videos and reading a plethora of articles on the success stories
of so many ordinary individuals who became millionaires from the tech industry, I decided to take initiative in my own future. I put pen to paper and composed a long list of all my goals, even the ones that seemed unimaginable, goals that I wanted to accomplish in one year, in four years, and in ten years. That stimulating thought process revealed to me how much time I really have to acquire the necessary means in achieving my goals. It helped me experience the power of productivity, and I want others to feel the same. Thus, I decided that the message of thinking about the future would be conveyed best from a TED event, which has always been rather uplifting.
