🤲🏽 Woohoo! 🤲🏽 Excited to announce that Cool Culture is a Finalist for the 6th Annual in the Claire Friedlander Family Foundation Arts & Culture Award category! 🏆✨

This recognition celebrates the power of arts, culture, and community—and we’re honored to be recognized alongside incredible nonprofit leaders making an impact across New York City.

Thank you to our families, partners, supporters, and community for believing in our mission to make cultural access possible for all.

The NYC Imagine Awards was created to recognize some of NYC metro’s most effective and innovative nonprofit organizations. Their sixth annual award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 27, at Guastavino’s, 409 E. 59th St., Manhattan.

With nearly 200 applications submitted for consideration in 6 categories, including Innovation, Leadership Excellence, Rising Star, Social Impact, Arts & Culture and DEIA. Cool Culture is one of four finalists in the Arts & Culture category. The winners receive $5,000 and will be announced LIVE at the event.

Cool Culture fam, it’s Primary Elections, and six U.S. House districts in NY will have congressional races on the ballot. Tuesday is your last chance to submit mail ballots and make sure you vote for the city you want to spend your summers at.

This is your opportunity to make your voice heard and ensure you and your families are the creators of meaningful change in your community—building a more equitable NYC and shaping the cultural spaces that belong to all of us.

The Museum Mile Festival is back!
On June 9th, everyone can access eight NYC museums for FREE from 6 to 9 pm:

🌟 The Metropolitan Museum of Art
🎨 Neue Galerie New York
🌟 Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
🌟 Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum
🌟 The Jewish Museum
🌟 Museum of the City of New York
🌟 El Museo del Barrio

All the museums marked with a 🌟 are Cool Culture partner museums! This means our families can enjoy FREE admission to these sites throughout the year. Learn if your school/center and family are eligible at bio link or CoolCulture.org.

At the Museum Mile Festival, enjoy arts activities for kids, live performances, food vendors and outdoor programming from each museum. The event takes place rain or shine.

Your family can visit Central Park before walking up Fifth Avenue from 82nd to 110th for the biggest art block party you'll see this June.
