Today, EPIC recognizes Indigenous Peoples’ Day and honors the histories, living cultures, creativity, and enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples and communities.
As an arts organization, we understand the power of stories, and the importance of making space for people to tell their own. This World Mental Health Day, we’re recognizing that care is not separate from the creative process, it helps make the work possible. 💜
At EPIC, building an accessible and inclusive community means creating space for the whole person, both onstage and behind the scenes. That includes making support, understanding, and mental health resources part of how we work together.
We’re grateful for Dr. James Singletary, our Wellness and Resource Coach, and Taupa Fogo-Toussaint, our Mental Health Specialist, whose work will help our Players feel supported, connected, and empowered throughout their EPIC journeys.

LOOK CLOSER. 🔍
A dog lies dead. A question becomes an investigation. And every answer changes what Christopher Boone believes he knows about truth, trust, family, and the world around him.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time follows Christopher as his determination to solve one mystery leads him toward discoveries he never expected. Told through his perspective, the play invites us to look closer, at what we assume, what we believe, and what happens when the truth is more complicated than it first appears.

For 10 years, EPIC has created artistic and professional opportunities for Disabled and Neurodivergent people to perform, collaborate, lead, and shape the stories audiences experience.
Onstage, behind the scenes, and throughout the workplace, Disabled and Neurodivergent artists are not additions to the creative process, they are essential creative professionals and leaders whose talent strengthens our entire industry.
True inclusion means removing barriers, investing in access, and ensuring people have the opportunities and support they need to do their best work.
