✨ Here’s a number that we’re especially proud of: so far this year, no full-time HomeBridge members have become reoffenders.

That means more than a statistic:

And futures beginning to look different from the past 🌱

At HomeBridge, our members are doing the hard work of rebuilding their lives — and we’re committed to walking alongside them with counseling, training, career support and, most importantly, community.

🎉 Five HomeBridge members found jobs in July!

Instead of returning to prison, Aden, Arguster, Damon, Ricardo, and Cliff went to work — and one member even landed two jobs! 💪

Every job represents more than a paycheck. It represents purpose, stability, confidence and a new path forward.

At HomeBridge Ventures, we believe healed people are employable — not the other way around. By providing community, support and opportunity, we help our members build a future beyond incarceration.

Day 3 | Global Homeboy Network Gathering 💙

"When love meets suffering, suffering turns love into mercy." — Father Gregory Boyle

Our final day was filled with inspiring breakout sessions led by the Homeboy Industries team, covering topics including case management, fundraising, mental health, social enterprises, and communications. We’re returning to Bridgeport with practical ideas, fresh perspectives, and new connections that will strengthen our work.

As the gathering came to a close, Father Gregory Boyle reminded the 300+ attendees to continue walking alongside those on the margins:
"It is the marrow of the Gospel."

We leave Los Angeles grateful for the relationships we've built, the wisdom we've gained, and a renewed commitment to our mission of hope, healing, and radical kinship. 🫶

We spent the day learning from inspiring leaders and organizations dedicated to serving those on the margins, while making meaningful connections and gathering new ideas to bring back to Bridgeport.

Together, we're building communities rooted in hope, healing, and radical kinship. 🤝✨

We were honored to welcome the Pastor and parishioners of Southport Congregational Church recently, who graciously served lunch to our members and took the time to listen to their powerful stories of hope, resilience, and recovery.

At HomeBridge, meaningful partnerships like these remind us that healing happens through community, compassion, and simply showing up for one another. Thank you to Southport Congregational for sharing your time, kindness, and open hearts with us. 💙

When 21-year-old Aden returned to HomeBridge after being rearrested, he expected disappointment.

Instead, he found a community that refused to give up on him. 🤝
With support, encouragement, and a fresh start, Aden rebuilt his résumé, received interview clothing from generous HomeBridge supporters, and landed a part-time job at CAVA in Westport. 👔✨

Now, he proudly says:
"I love this job so much. I don't want to go home at closing." ❤️

At HomeBridge, we believe people are more than their worst mistake. Through unconditional love, radical kinship, and whole-person healing, lives are transformed—one second chance at a time. 🌱💙

In this video, HomeBridge Ventures Member Support Specialist Michael shares his talent through rap, using music to tell his story and inspire others. As he says, "If you ever hit rock bottom, you start building."

For many people, music provides an outlet to process emotions, build confidence, and find connection. It creates space to be heard, understood, and empowered.
