The sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Theta Tau Omega Chapter were proud to participate in the 34th Annual Juneteenth Parade & Harambee Festival in Bridgeport ✊🏾 From the energy of the parade to the fellowship, music, and cultural celebration at Seaside Park, it was a beautiful day dedicated to commemorating resilience, progress, and the enduring spirit of our community.

Juneteenth reminds us not only of how far we’ve come, but also of our collective responsibility to continue advancing equity, opportunity, and justice for all.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, performers, and community members who made this year’s celebration so meaningful. We were honored to stand alongside so many as we celebrated freedom, heritage, and hope.
