This is fantastic!

This month JPNDC welcomed First Teacher, a parent-led early learning community founded in Roxbury in 2013. More than 300 families take part in First Teacher’s workshops, playdates, and book clubs each year.

JPNDC is proud to add the First Teacher name, its team, its programs, and its parent leadership. As part of JPNDC, First Teacher gains a lasting home and their families gain access to JPNDC’s network of licensed home-based early educators for childcare placement, with additional services such as financial coaching, career counseling, credit building support, small business development, and affordable housing navigation support.

To all incoming BPS and Boston Pre-k Kindergarteners, today is the Citywide celebration! The Countdown to Kindergarten team and the Boston Children's Museum staff are ready for you! This is our 28th year of hosting this event together! So proud of this partnership. 💛

You can find us at the Boston Children’s Museum. Party starts sharply at 4:30 and ends at 7:30 pm. Thank you to all of our partners Nickelodeon, Cradles to Crayons Massachusetts, Boston Public Schools, Vital Village Network, Boston Public Library,The Boston Foundation, City of Boston and so many volunteers that help to make this event amazing every year!!!

Attention all incoming K0, K1, and K2 BPS and Boston Pre-K students! 🎉🎉🎉

You are welcome to attend a Kindergarten K-Day Party at a local Boston Public Library this month!

Tonight, you can find the C2K team and volunteers at the Adams Library in Dorchester from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

It’s a 2-hour party filled with fun activities, music and movement, and light snacks! 🎶💃🏾🎨

Come meet your children’s librarian and bring your kindergartener wearing their yellow shirt! Don’t worry—we’ll have yellow bags and T-shirts available, too. 💛

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎉
