NEFA staff participated in:
+ advocacy days in Maine (communications director Ann Wicks and interim manager of program strategy Kelsey Spitalny) with Cultural Alliance of Maine
+ and Massachusetts (public art program director Kim Szeto, public art program manager Jess Wong Camhi, and creative economy program manager Natalya Tausanovitch) with MASSCreative
+ our operations team (Tausanovitch, chief operating officer Steven Fenton, development director Sharon Timmel, tech & data administrator Elizabeth Timmerman, tech & data director Abby Southwell, communications manager Jeffrey Filiault, and development officer Saejin Priore, who participated virtually) went to the NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference to learn from professionals across sectors
+ our public art department participated in the Artists Thrive Summit where Szeto joined a panel on how artist-led initiatives can activate collective memory and visions for spatial justice with Dzidzor Azaglo, Crystal Bi, and Danielle Amodeo at Arts Equity Group
+ and our development team Timmel and Priore had a retreat with our executive director Harold Steward
