Good Samaritan Home The Good Samaritan Home was founded by Charles A. Wing in 1942. We find solutions to improve the livelihood of those under a great deal of detrimental stress.

Good Samaritan Home provides safe, affordable housing, three home-cooked meals a day, and full utilities for 45 residents — seniors, veterans, and adults on fixed incomes, many of whom might otherwise face homelessness or hunger. The Home began as a retirement home for seniors but quickly transformed into a facility that gave all adults on a fixed income a chance to live comfortably and affordably. We offer a home where every resident feels valued and safe, where hope is awake and individual dignity is honored. Regardless of the circumstances that lead a resident to us, we seek to support them by offering stability. For some, it’s a space to transition to the next chapter in life. For others, this is where they will conclude their story.

There’s More Than One Way to Make a Difference 💛

Supporting Good Samaritan Home doesn’t look the same for everyone, and that’s okay.

There are now several ways you can help provide housing, meals, stability, and community for the residents at Good Samaritan Home.

You can:
- Join the 1942 Club and become part of a special group carrying our mission forward
- Become a monthly donor and provide dependable support all year long
- Shop our Amazon Wish List to help with items our residents and Home need
- Donate a car or other vehicle and turn something you no longer need into support for Good Samaritan

Whether it’s a monthly gift, a needed item, or even a vehicle, every act of generosity helps us continue providing a place to call home.

There’s a new way to support Good Samaritan Home.

You can now donate a car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, or other qualifying vehicle and help support our mission of providing affordable housing, meals, and a stable community for adults in Boise.

A vehicle you no longer need can become meaningful support for the residents who rely on Good Samaritan Home for housing, meals, and stability.
