Building community, connection, and unity in Boise’s Sunset Neighborhood. Everyone who lives or works in Sunset is welcome to get involved!

The Sunset Neighborhood Association is a volunteer-led group of neighbors working together to build community, connection, and unity in north Boise's Sunset Neighborhood. Our regular meetings are held the second Tuesday of odd-numbered months, and our Annual Meeting is in October. Together, we are building a more vibrant neighborhood.

🦁🎭 So inspiring to see the creativity of the kiddos at Taft for their amazing production of Lion King KIDS! Bravo! 👏

Producing a musical is one of the highlights of their school year, but it comes with costs like performance rights, scripts, costumes, and props. This year they’re taking on Aladdin KIDS! 🧞‍♂️

If you'd like to help make this experience possible for these students, please consider donating:

Once you're there, chose THANK-A-TEACHER and type Taft Elementary / Natalie Chelson to donate directly to her classroom foundation account.

Sunset Neighbors,
We are sorry to share that, due to unhealthy air quality (AQI), the Sunset Neighborhood Association has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's National Night Out celebration. The health and safety of our community is our highest priority.

This is our most beloved and attended neighborhood event each year, and we are truly disappointed to make this decision. The SNA is committed to creating community events that everyone can safely attend and enjoy. Under the current air quality conditions, we cannot ensure that all members of our community, including children, older adults, and those with respiratory or other health concerns, can participate safely.

We appreciate our neighborhood’s understanding and support. Thank you to our partners, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who planned to attend. We look forward to bringing everyone together for future community events under safer conditions.

Please continue to monitor local air quality conditions and take appropriate precautions if spending time outdoors ❤
