Wild Whatcom Wild Whatcom fosters lifelong connections with nature. Outdoor experiences for all ages & abilities. We offer nature outings for all ages.

Our whole person, inquiry-based approach allows people of all skill and experience levels to get curious, silly and reflective outdoors, while making new friends and learning how to be environmental stewards. Program scholarships and free loaner clothing/gear are available! Outings include:
1) K-12: After school, weekend, and summer programs
2) Ages 0-6: Friday and Saturday outings with your adult

3) Adults: Affinity programs (evening, weekend) for women, and for queer adults/allies, and physically accessible, slower-paced outings for adults
4) All ages: Weekend field trips for explorers of all ages

What's on the menu next Tuesday, August 25th? Celebrate summer - or back to school 😉 - with burgers, fries and shakes at the Bellingham Five Guys! Buy something yummy anytime on August 25th, mention Wild Whatcom, and 20% of your order will be donated to our youth program scholarships. These funds allow families in need to give their kids the gift of outdoor adventure and learning, from Nature Preschool to afterschool, weekend programs during the school year, and weekday camps in the summer. 🦉Open the door to a world of wonder, learning, new friends, and kindergarten readiness for your child! Wild Whatcom’s Nature Preschool is for adventurers who are 3-5 years of age and potty-trained. Classes are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Choose one day or more!
