Community Field Trips are all ages nature outings for everyone! Join us this Sunday, June 14th, 10:00AM-12:00PM for a Loooow Tide Exploration. Whatcom County has an amazing diversity of marine life, so let's take a look. A good pair of waterproof boots is your ticket to safely exploring the beach. If you need to borrow boots (kids or adults), let us know when you register! We'll also bring kid sized critter buckets and tools to explore. The tide will be at -3.06, which is the strongest tide we’ve had in quite a while, exploring during this time may reveal crabs, nudibranchs, jellyfish, sea stars, and possibly some baby herons! 🐚🦀 Please register in advance: https://www.wildwhatcom.org/community-field-trips.
