The Sophia Way The Sophia Way is a place of hope and change for women. The Sophia Way envisions a community where all women have a place to call home.

The organization supports women on their journey from homelessness to safe and stable living. Our shelters give them a warm, safe space to take a shower, rest, and sleep, and nourishing food. Following the guiding principles of trauma-informed care, case managers partner with the women to support their overall wellbeing – physical, mental, and financial. Since 2008, The Sophia Way has served and supported more than 5,000 women and helped hundreds find their homes.

A big thank you to the USI Insurance Services team who volunteered at our donation center last Wednesday! Their energy and enthusiasm made a big difference - from prepping for our Fall Community Brunch to organizing items so we can better meet the needs of women we serve. We're so grateful!

Last month, women at Helen's Place were treated to a sweet afternoon thanks to an ice cream social hosted by Liveable Kirkland! Their team brought the community together and served up both diary and non-diary ice cream with ALL the toppings.

We’re so grateful for community partners who show up with kindness, connection, and, in this case, lots of sprinkles.

Thank you, Livable Kirkland!

We're deeply thankful for Matson's generous grant supporting The Sophia Way. Your investment empowers women to journey from hardship toward stability — giving them a peaceful space to recover, a dedicated support team walking alongside them, and ultimately, a place to call home.

Together, we're helping women rebuild their lives, one step at a time.
